Rules for Metopia

To ensure a fair and enjoyable gaming experience for everyone, we kindly ask you to carefully read and adhere to the following rules.

§1 General Rules

• Respect towards other players and team members is of utmost priority. Insults, discrimination, or other inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
• Exploits, cheats, hacks, or other forms of unauthorized interference in the game are strictly prohibited and will result in a permanent ban.
• Deliberately deceiving or lying to team members or other players is prohibited.

§2 In-Game Trading and Real-Money Transactions

• The trading of in-game items, Yang, or accounts for real money is allowed on Metopia.
• Important Note:
  Metopia takes no responsibility for trading agreements between players. If a trade involving real money results in fraud (scam), it is solely the responsibility of the parties involved. We do not offer support or refunds in such cases.
• All transactions are at your own risk. Carefully check your trading partners before engaging in a trade.
• Publicly offering real-money trades in the global chat (e.g., whisper or guild chat) is permitted but must not disrupt gameplay or be interpreted as spam.

§3 In-Game Behavior

• Deliberately blocking Metin stones, bosses, or other relevant game content with the intention of harming other players is not permitted.
• Killstealing (KS) is dishonorable but generally allowed. However, we ask for respectful behavior.
• Multi-accounts are allowed, but we reserve the right to take action against bots or automated systems.

§4 Violations and Consequences

• Violations of the above rules may result in warnings, temporary bans, or permanent bans depending on the severity of the offense.
• Fraud in real-money trading is not supported by us. We take no responsibility for stolen items and do not conduct any investigations.
• Players can, however, be reported through the Discord ticket system. A video proof is mandatory. After reviewing the evidence, we will permanently ban players who behave unfairly.

§5 Changes and Additions

• The Metopia team reserves the right to change or supplement these rules at any time. Changes will be announced in due time on the forum or the website.
• By using the server, every player fully accepts these rules.
